I set Galvanize as the hold music for my digital phone thing at my first job, knowing it'd never be used. Then MS Teams glitched out once and put everyone in a call with me on hold for a few seconds.

I think I might have played this loudly as part of a playlist while cleaning up and moving out of a dorm room once.
could also unplug 1 fan at a time to see which one is the culprit, if any.
also check fan speed settings. there might be adjustments for response curves, or something to keep it from cycling like that
if so, check cpu / gfx core temps and see if they're kind-of high during idle.
sounds like a fan throttling to maintain a temperature. does it change with cpu load or gfx load?
i typed a detailed response but was auto logged out
I don't think this is good for mental health, as the sound is subtle torture. Like waterboarding or so
